
Overview
Jaime Panton has been a pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP) since 2007. She obtained her MSN from Northwestern State University. Her background includes working as a PNP in pediatric surgery, primary care, and as an inpatient PNP at CHONY. She obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2013 from the University of South Alabama. She later returned to South Alabama to complete her post-graduate certificate in the Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program in 2017. She has presented nationally and internationally on a variety of pediatric NP topics. She is an editor for the Burns Pediatric Primary Care Textbook. She returned to school at Columbia to complete a Master's in Human Rights in 2024 and serves as a volunteer for the Weill Cornell Human Rights Clinic. She currently practices as a PNP in the adolescent rheumatology clinic.
